IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Debra Ann
Ryan
November 12, 1954 – January 14, 2025
Debra A. Ryan of Hanover, MA left her earthly body on January 14, 2025 after a brief illness lovingly surrounded by her family.
She was born in 1954 in Framingham to Regina E. and Joseph W. Ryan.
A devoted mother to her two dedicated daughters, Leah (Cohen) Miller and husband Ryan of Norwell, and Sarah (Cohen) and Husband Michael Geddes of Halifax. The most caring sister to her brothers James Ryan of Rockland, and the late William J. Ryan. She will be sorely missed by countless friends she considered family, from all over the world. To know her was to love her.
Debbie spent the last 50 years operating her business, Cohasset Pizza House, where she started at the young age of 20. During this time she was a staple in the community, always giving back in anyway she could. She helped shape the lives of many young people she employed by showing them the importance of hard work, and was always there to mentor them in any sense they needed, many referring to her as a second mother. She lived her life in a way most only aspire to, through love and kindness, while somehow balancing a toughness needed to be a woman business owner in a time when it was almost unheard of.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Visiting hours on Tuesday, January 21, 2025 at the McNamara-Sparrell Funeral Home, 1 Summer St., Cohasset from 4-7. The burial will be private.
