Donald E. Beamon, age 81, of Cohasset and Hull, passed away on March 24, 2015. Beloved husband of Joan P. "Pat" (Flemming) of Cohasset and Hull. Father of Carolyn Bonnar and husband, Christopher of Hanover, Donna McManus of Cohasset, Nancy Figueiredo and husband JP of Cohasset. Brother of the late Richard Beamon. Cherished Papa of Diane, David, Michael, Christopher, Lauren, Caroline, Hannah and Brooke. Great Papa of Tessa. Born in Texas and raised in Belmont, He was a graduate of Northeastern Univ. He was a veteran of the US Army, serving during Korea. Mr. Beamon worked for Provident Life and Accident Insurance as a broker.

A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, March 28, 2015 at 10 am in St. Anthony Church, Cohasset. Visiting hours Friday, March 27 from 4-7 pm in McNamara-Sparrell Funeral Home, 160 So. Main St. (across from St. Anthony Church off Summer St.), Cohasset, MA. Interment Tuesday, March 31, 2015 at 2:45 in the Massachusetts National Cemetery, Connery Ave., Bourne, MA. In lieu of flowers, donations to honor Mr. Beamon may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project, 150 Cambridge Park Drive, Suite 202, Cambridge, Massachusetts 02140.
