Dorothy Kane, 88 years old, life-long resident of Scituate, passed away peacefully on March 1, 2024 surrounded by family and friends.

Previously employed as a Secretary by the Renegotiation Board of the US. Government, but her passion for years was babysitting

Dorothy was predeceased by her parents John and Mary (Caplice) Kane , her sister and brother in law Roseanne and James McCarthy Jr and niece Jennifer Lynn Kane

She is survived by her brother John Kane and his wife Joyce of New Jersey and many, many nieces and nephews.

Visitation is at McNamara-Sparrell Funeral Home, Cohasset, Mass. Friday, March 8, from 10-12 followed by burial at St Mary's Cemetery Scituate Mass.
