Obituary
Edward Karcher passed away peacefully at his home in Cohasset, MA on Tuesday night, May 26th 2015, comforted by his loving wife Diana. He was 75.
Ed was born on August 17, 1939 to Chet and Irene Karcher. He was raised in Roslindale, MA and graduated from Wentworth Institute of Engineering in 1959. In 1961 Ed married Diana (Williams) and they lived in Westwood before settling in Cohasset, MA to raise their family. He was a kind man, loved by his family and friends. He enjoyed nature, laughter, and a good joke.
Edward Karcher is survived by his wife Diana, daughter and son-in-law Christina and Francis Ahern, daughter and son-in-law Tamara and Sean O'Connor, and son and Daughter-in-law Eric and Sandra Karcher. He was loved by his ten grand –children Liam, Molly, Colleen, and Rian Ahern, Maggie, Jack, Finn, and Maeve O'Connor, and Cassandra and Evan Karcher.
A Graveside Service will be held on Monday, June 1, 2015 at 11 am in Cohasset Central Cemetery, Joy Place, Cohasset, followed by a reception to celebrate him in the Atlantica Restaurant, Border St., Cohasset.
