Edward G. Malone, age 83, of Scituate, formerly of Newton and Brighton, passed away on November 11, 2013. Beloved husband of M. Patricia (Costello). Devoted father of Edward and wife Dana of Plainfield  IN, Tricia and husband Bill of Sharon, Julianne of Miami  FL, Christopher and wife Terri of Centerville, Kathleen and husband Chris of Richmond VA, Sheila of McDonough GA, Eileen and husband Chris of Norwell, Jerry and wife Catherine of Charlotte NC, and the late Patrick Joseph Malone. Loving grandfather of Mallory, Meaghan, Matthew, Maureen, David, Michael, Danielle, Jason, Christopher, Ryan, Kevin, Mackenzie, Cayleigh, Gabriel, Alexandra, Rebecca, Patrick, Caitlin, Andrew, Thomas, Clark, and Marguerite. Great-grandfather of Gryphon. Loved by his twin brother Bernard and doting sister Mary.

Mr. Malone was a US Army veteran and retired US Postal employee. He was a retired teacher from Walpole Middle School. He attended Newman Prep, BC High and Wentworth Institute of Tech. He was also a graduate of Boston College, Class of 1959. He was passionate about home improvement renovations as evident by the constant projects he was working on at their home on Oceanside Drive. He will be sadly missed by his entire family.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, Nov. 15, 2013 at 11 am in St. Anthony Church, Cohasset. Visiting hour immediately prior to Mass from 10-11 am at McNamara-Sparrell Funeral Home, 1 Summer St. (across from St. Anthony Church), Cohasset. Interment Cudworth Cemetery, Scituate. In lieu of flowers, donations to honor Edward may be made to Notre Dame Academy, 1073 Main St., Hingham, MA.02043  or to B.C. High School, 150 Morrissey Blvd., Boston, MA. 02125
