Dr. Edward H. McKenney, age 49, of Norwell, formerly of Dorchester and Marshfield passed away peacefully on January 6, 2013.  Devoted husband of Andraea M. (Fenn), adored father of Jenna E. McKenney. Beloved son of the late Mary L. and Henry J. McKenney.   Loving brother of William B. and his wife Mariellen, Ann M. and her husband Edward Fruth, Mary L., Gerard F., Joan C., Stephen P., Dennis J.  & his wife Tammy, and Brendan J. & his wife Jennifer. Also Survived by many nieces and nephews, family, and friends.

Ed was born in Boston. Graduate of  Boston College High School '81, Boston University '85, Life Chiropractic College Marietta, Georgia '89.

Ed and his wife Andraea established McKenney Chiropractic in Pembroke and practiced together for many years.  Ed was active in girls youth soccer in Marshfield and Norwell where he coached his daughter Jenna for many years.

Among his many interests, he was an avid scuba diver, boater, adventurer, loved being on and below the ocean.  Ed recently completed his memoirs making his mark as an author. He was a gifted story teller.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 9 am on Friday, January 11, 2013 in St. Helen Church, 383 Washington St., Norwell, MA. 02061. Visiting hours Thursday, January 10, 2013 from 4-8 pm in McNamara-Sparrell Funeral Home, 30 Central St. (off Rt. 123, near State Police Barracks), Norwell Center.  In lieu of flowers expressions of sympathy in his memory may be made to the Edward H.
