Eleanore J. (Jones) McCann, age 89, a long time resident of Norwell, passed away peacefully on December 20, 2025. Beloved wife of Michael C. McCann. Loving mother of Camy Langton and her husband, Dana of Hooksett, NH, Bill McCann of Norwell, Barbara Wallace and her husband, David of Plymouth, Eileen Spadorcia and her husband Anthony of Abington, and T.J. McCann and his wife, Christine Jamiol of Dover, NH. Adoring grandmother of Brendan, Erin, Isabella, Sophia, Finnian, Ceili, Christian, Cadel, River and Emma. Loving great-grandmother of Lilly and Maddie. Sister of the late Allan and Robert Jones. Honorary sister of the late Anne Fridgen. Also survived by many loving family members and friends.

Eleanore was a dedicated member of St. Helen's Church in Norwell and devoted volunteer for Meals on Wheels and Norwell Council on Aging. She loved to travel with friends. One of her most favorite trips was her journey to Medujorge.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, December 27, 2025 at 10 am in Our Lady of the Angels, St. Mary Church, 392 Hanover Street, Hanover, MA. 02339. In lieu of flowers, donations to honor Eleanore may be made to the Alzheimer's Assoc.
