Elizabeth J. (Buddington) Branagan, age 85, of Cohasset, passed away peacefully on April 13, 2014 in Natick. She confronted a long-term debilitating disease with patience and courage and was an inspiration to those lucky enough to know her. Beloved wife of the late Lyle E. Branagan. Devoted mother of Lyle A. Branagan and wife, Karen of N. Carolina, Peter B. Branagan and wife Meredith of Hingham, James H. Branagan of New Jersey, and Kathy E. Branagan and husband Arthur Robert of Natick. Grandmother of Lyle, Michael, Ryan, Nicole, Melissa, John, James, Evan Branagan, Arthur, and Lucie Robert.

Graduate, Class of 1950, Barnard College, NY. Member of the Cohasset Garden Club, and the First Baptist Church, Scituate.
