Elizabeth Mary Jordan

Elizabeth M. Jordan (Crozier), 95, of Cohasset, Massachusetts, passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 3, 2026. She was born on February 17, 1931, in Camden, Maine, to H. Elmo Crozier and Louise M. Crozier (Curtis). Elizabeth grew up in Rockland, Maine, where she spent her formative years surrounded by family and the close-knit community she cherished.

A dedicated and compassionate woman, Elizabeth graduated from the New England Deaconess School of Nursing and went on to serve as a Registered Nurse for many years, touching countless lives with her kindness and expertise. Her commitment to caring for others extended beyond her professional life, as she was a devoted mother and a pillar of strength for her family.

Elizabeth was a faithful and active member of St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church, where she found solace and community in her faith. She attended services regularly until her health no longer permitted, but her spirit remained deeply connected to the church and its congregation.

From 1967 to 1969 she served as a missionary of The United Church Board for World Ministries in the Philippines and worked as a nurse at the Silliman Medical Center in Dumagete. In 1969, Elizabeth moved to Cohasset, Massachusetts, where she lived for over five decades, creating a warm and loving home. In 2022, she transitioned to Benchmark Senior Living at Plymouth Crossing, Harbor Memory Care Unit, where she was tenderly cared for by the staff. Over the past year, she received compassionate support from Cranberry Hospice, who ensured her comfort and dignity.

Elizabeth’s legacy is one of love, service, and unwavering faith. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her.

She is survived by her children, Christopher and his wife Elaine, Marcia and her Husband Mark, Ross and his wife Tricia; her brother, George H. Crozier and his wife Rose; her grandchildren, Thomas Tapping, Brianna Jordan, and Bailey Jordan Zeldis; and her great-grandchildren, Curren, Jordan, and Chloe.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in her memory to St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church, Cranberry Hospice, Audubon Society, or Heifer International.

A memorial service will be announced at a later date.
