Ellen Logue Donze, 55 of Marshfield, MA formerly of Cohasset, MA  passed away on December 3, 2013 with her family by her side. Ellen was born in Walpole, MA and then moved to Marshfield, MA. She graduated from Marshfield High School and attended 2 years of college. After college Ellen worked as a bookkeeper then transitioned into the family restaurant business. A job she loved. She could do any job in a restaurant but was an excellent hostess. You could see her at Pier 44 in Scituate, MA and Hugo's in Cohasset, MA. She was well liked in the restaurant business and treated everyone the same whether you were a regular or it was your first time there. Ellen also loved animals. She had a heart of gold for both people and her two rescue cats (Tunsis and Albey).
Ellen is the beloved daughter of Gloria Logue (McCarthy) of Hingham, MA and the late Aubrey F. Logue of Walpole, MA. She was the loving wife of 22 years to Charles (Rip) Donze of Marshfield, MA. Ellen was the beloved sister of Paul Logue and wife Maureen of Scituate, MA , John Logue and wife Susan of Westerville, OH.  Ellen was the beloved Aunt of Paul and Kaelin of Scituate, MA and Aubrey and John of Westerville, OH.  Ellen was the daughter in law of Charles and Rusty Donze of Hingham, MA. Ellen was the beloved sister-in law of Jeff Donze and his late wife Shelly of Cohasset, MA,  Andrea Donze of St. Louis, MO. She was the aunt of  Margaux and Christopher both of Cohasset, MA.,  and Greg Powell of St. Louis, MO.
A Funeral Mass will be at Saint Mary's of the Nativity, 1 Kent Street, Scituate, MA at 10 AM on Saturday December 7, 2013. In lieu of flowers donations in the name of Ellen Donze can be made to Scituate Animal Shelter, 780 Chief Justice Cushing Highway, Scituate, MA 02066.
