Ellen V. (Spencer) Cronin, age 89, of Scituate, died peacefully on March 9, 2012 surrounded by her family. Ellen was the beloved wife of the late Everett Leo Cronin and the devoted mother of Charles Cronin and Ellen Cogill. She was the adoring grandmother of Sean Cogill and the great-grandmother of Haley and Richard John Cogill, all of Hingham.

Ellen was a retired caregiver and resident of Life Care Center of Scituate for the last several years.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, March 13, 2012 at 12 noon in St. Anthony Church, Cohasset. Visiting hours omitted. Interment private. If desired donations in Ellen's memory may be made to the Life Care Center of Scituate, Activities Dept., 309 Driftway, Scituate, MA. 02066.
