Evelyn Broxton Libertine, age 84 of Norwell, died peacefully in her sleep at her home on August 23rd, 2014.  Beloved wife of the late Rocco William Libertine, she is survived by her children; Dorothea McCafferty and husband Michael, of Braintree, Rocco Libertine, Jr. and wife Brenda, of Deerfield, Sherrie Pelissier and her husband Gerald, of Plymouth, and John Libertine and wife Paula, of Taunton. Also by grandchildren Michaela Collins and Colleen McCafferty, Amanda Hickey and Anthony Libertine, Michelle and Nicole Pelissier,  Julia Libertine, and great grandson Broxton Collins. She is also survived by her remaining sisters; Tressie Jackson, Dorothy Dertzo, and Loreen James.

Evelyn graduated from Vidette High School in Georgia.  She worked at the Dupont Atomic Energy Plant, and also as a Dental Assistant for the late Dr. Garner.

Visiting hours Thursday, August, 28, 2014 from 8:30 to 9:30AM at the McNamara-Sparrell Funeral Home, 30 Central Street, Norwell, MA. followed by interment at the V.A. Mass. National Cemetery, 10 Connery Ave, Bourne, MA at 10:45 am.
In lieu of flowers donations to honor Evelyn may be made to the Norwell Council on Aging, 293 Pine St., Norwell, MA  02061.
