Devoted mother of Paul McCarthy and wife Deborah, Ellen Tierney and husband Michael, Stephen McCarthy and Brian McCarthy, and the late John Paul McCarthy, Jr. Loving daughter of the late James J. Sullivan and the late Mary Florence (McNichols) Sullivan. Dear sister of the late Marie Shaughnessy, Dorothy Shea, William Sullivan and James Sullivan. Loving grandmother of Patrick, Kelly Rose, Shannon, Brendan, Meaghan, Elizabeth, Michael, Hayley and Daniel. Loving Gigi to 19 great-grandchildren.

Family and friends are invited to attend visiting hours on Saturday, June 8th, 2024 from 9:30 -11am at the McNamara-Sparrell Funeral Home-1 Summer Street, Cohasset. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 12 noon at St. Mary's of the Assumption, Hull. Interment will be held on Tuesday, June 11 at 12:30pm at Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne.
