Frances Patricia "Pat" (Templeton) Sargent, age 81, of Cohasset, passed away peacefully at home with loving family on February 8, 2013. Born and raised in Hull the daughter of Earl and Viola Templeton, Pat was a graduate of Hingham High School.  She worked as the Matron for the Cohasset Police Department, as well as at Hugo's Lighthouse and was a longtime manager of Dependable Cleaners in Cohasset.  Following her retirement, Pat was very active in the Cohasset Senior Center. Pat was known by many and loved by all.

Pat was the loving wife of the late Richard J. Sargent and the loving mother of Richard "Java" Sargent and wife Cheryl, Robert, Dennis, William, Kevin, and Sharon Sargent, all of Cohasset. She was the sister of Kathleen Conte. Pat was the grandmother of Jeremiah Sargent, Lauren Shea, Stephanie Sargent, Samantha Sargent, Jordan Sargent, Taylor Sargent, Alyssa Schlager, Bridgettte Schlager, Ariel Savage, Olivia Auld, and the late Jesse Sargent and great-grandmother of seven.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, Feb. 15, 2013 at 10 am in St. Anthony Church, Cohasset. Visiting hours Thursday, Feb. 14, 2013 from 3-7 pm in McNamara-Sparrell Funeral Home, 1 Summer St. (across from St. Anthony Church), Cohasset. In lieu of flowers, donations in Pat's honor may be made to the Senior Center Building Fund, 3 No. Main St., Cohasset, MA. 02025.
