Francis J. Good, age 86, of Scituate, passed away peacefully on June 25, 2014 at home. Beloved husband for 59 years of Barbara (McCarron). Devoted father of Ellen E. Good of Scituate; Barbara Brennan and husband James of Green Harbor; Francis Good of Hull; Nancy Parsons and husband Jack of Marshfield; and William Good and wife Mollie of Scituate. Brother of Frederick Good of Belmont, Albert Good of Dover, and the late John Good Sr., and Sister Irene R. Good, RSCJ. Grandfather of James, Elizabeth, and Peter Brennan, John and Michael Parsons, Brian and Carolyn Good.

Mr. Good was a graduate of Cambridge High and Latin and St. Michael's College, where he was a proud Golden Knight. He worked his entire career as an Insurance Agent. Mr. Good served in the US Navy during World War II.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, July 1, 2014 at 10 am in St. Anthony Church, 10 Summer St., Cohasset. Visiting hours Monday, June 30, 2014 from 4-8 pm in McNamara-Sparrell Funeral Home, 160 South Main St.(across from St. Anthony Church), Cohasset. Interment Cudworth Cemetery, Scituate.
