Frank W. Wheelwright, age 78, of Cohasset, died suddenly on February 23, 2013. Beloved husband of Eileen C. (Best) and devoted father of Denise Wheelwright Gardner of Cohasset, Frank W. and Caren of Cohasset, and the late Robert J. Wheelwright. Stepfather of Donald and Marie Johnson of Florida, Donna and Robert Eiseman of Florida, Judith and Mark McAuliffe of Plympton and David and Barbra Johnson of Marshfield. Grandfather of Lindsey Gardner, Jessica Tchindebet and Frank Wheelwright Jr. Also survived by 11 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.

Mr. Wheelwright was a retired inspector for the Bay State Gas Company and also worked for Bagnell Auto Parts in Hanover.

Relatives and friends are invited to visiting hours on Wednesday, Feb. 27, 2013 from 3-7 pm in McNamara-Sparrell Funeral Home, 1 Summer St. (across from St. Anthony Church), Cohasset. Service and Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations in honor of Mr. Wheelwright may be made to the Dana Farber Cancer Institute, 450 Brookline Ave., Boston, MA. 02215.
