Gail Nugent Vaughan of Cohasset passed away peacefully with her unfailing family at her side on June 8, 2025.

She was the daughter of the late Robert P. Nugent of Hingham and the late Margaret M. Nugent of Hingham and Edgartown, MA. Loving mother of Rachael Monica Rodick and her husband Timothy Roderick of Cohasset.

She also leaves behind her brother Thomas E. Nugent of Arlington, and John R. Nugent of Cohasset. She is predeceased by her brother Robert P. Nugent and her sister Anne P. Nugent and her sister-in-law, Marie McFaden Nugent of Worcester.

Grandmother of Savanna and Gia Ruzzano of Abington. And the best of Many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Gail attended Archbishop Williams High School, Braintree, MA, and Mount St. Mary's College in Hooksett, NH.

Later on, Gail and her husband Earle H. Vaughan of Stoneham owned and operated a Lake Side resort on Lake Winnipesaukee, NH for 20 years and also Alden Construction Co. in Stoneham, MA. Upon the death of her husband, Earle she returned home to join the Hingham Visting Nurses. Later to become Partners Home Care. For many years She devotedly succeeded in her mission, to care willingly and compassionately for those with severe sickness and disabilities.

A Funeral Mass will be held Tuesday, June 24, 2025 at 10am at Saint Paul's Church-147 North Street, Hingham. Interment will be private.
