Obituary

Garen "Gig" Suzan passed away unexpectedly on August 3, 2016 at the age of 64.  Gig was the son of the late Barbara Jackson Suzan and the late Brian E. Suzan Sr. of Norwell. He was the loving partner of Heidi A. Scheller of Hingham. He is also survived by his sister Gayle Farrar and her husband Lloyd Farrar of Rockland and his brother Brian E. Suzan Jr. of Norwell.  He is also survived by his niece Jennifer A. Moulton and her husband Richard, great nephew Thomas Moulton and nephew David S. Farrar.

Gig was raised in Norwell and was a graduate of Norwell High School class of 1970 and majored in Speech: Business and Industry at Emerson College.  He was a Dao Master and lifelong Tai Chi enthusiast.  He enjoyed playing music, especially the drums.  Gig was a member of the Cohasset Golf Club and the Satuit Boat Club in Scituate.  Gig was a volunteer reader at the Talking Information Center for the blind and contributed his time at the Second Parish in Hingham.

Friends and family are invited to a gathering at the Cohasset Golf Club Lampert's Lane, Cohasset on Sunday, August 7, 2016 from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m.  A Memorial Service will be held at the Second Parish in Hingham Unitarian Universalist on Saturday, August 27, 2016 at 11 a.m.
