George R. Cronin, age 83, of Norwell, formerly of Weymouth and Braintree, died suddenly on July 28, 2010. Mr. Cronin was raised in Weymouth, where he owned and operated Cronin Dairy. He was a graduate of Weymouth High School and attended Norfolk Agricultural School.

Mr. Cronin was the beloved husband of the late Helen (Ferguson) and the loving father of Georgeanne Waterman of New York, Christine Perella of Hanson, Catherine L. Foss of Norwell, Mary Fencer & Eileen Hutchinson, both of Pembroke, Anne Barker of Plymouth, George W. Cronin of Hanover, Rob J. Cronin of Sandwich and Paul L. Cronin of Norwell. He was the brother of Harry Cronin of Cape Cod, Margaret Cronin of Weymouth, and the late Richard Cronin. George is also survived by his 15 loving grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
