George Donald Locke, 76, of Norwell, Massachusetts, passed away at home on Wednesday, March 9, 2011 in the arms of his loving wife Stephanie. Born in Indianapolis, Indiana on April 28, 1934, son of George Ruby and Mary Jeanette (Wilson) Locke and his step-father, Myron Roberts, he graduated from Franklin College with a BA in Business Administration. A regional sales manager for Proctor & Gamble and Thompson Chemical for many years, George successfully expanded his interests to the field of real estate brokerage and property management in Central Florida before retiring and moving to Massachusetts with his most important accomplishment, his family.

An avid golfer, George also enjoyed his other favorite pastimes, traveling, cooking, and spending time with family. A kind soul and gentle man, George loved life and everyone he met.

Beloved father of Michael Locke and his wife Jennifer of Lake Mary, FL, Jacquelyn Johnston and her husband James of Altamonte Springs, FL, Gwendolyn Ruth and her husband Danny of Longwood, FL, Gerard Ray and his wife Christina of Norwell, MA, Christopher Ray and his wife Donna of Marshfield, MA, grandfather to Ryan, Lauren, Taylor, Sylvester, Lisa, Sarai, Christopher Jr. and Cameron.
