Gloria K. Sproul, age 87, a lifelong Scituate resident, died on November 20, 2012 at the South Shore Hospital. She graduated from Scituate High School, Class of 1942. Gloria enjoyed modeling and was in many fashion shows. She was also active in the Catholic Woman's Club and the P.J.A.

Gloria was the wife of the late Josselyn Sproul. She is survived by her son, William Edwards, Jr. of San Diego, CA. and two daughters, Nancy Photos of Scituate and Sharon Anderson of Milton, as well as six grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren. She is also survived many nieces and nephews. Gloria was the wife of the late William B. Edwards.

A Private graveside service will be held. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations to honor Gloria be made to the Scituate Animal Shelter, 781 C.J.C. Hwy., Scituate, MA. 02066.
