IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Gregory M.
Shea Ii
September 23, 1999 – February 24, 2021
Gregory M. Shea, II, of Scituate, passed away suddenly on February 24, 2021. Beloved son of Gregory M. and Alyson (Fennelly) Shea of Scituate. Loving brother of Carla M. (Shea) Nee and her husband Coleman of Scituate, Michael J. Shea and wife Shannah of Rhode Island, Sean G. Shea of Scituate, Reilly P. Shea and fiance James "Jake" Duffy of Pembroke.
Gregory was a lifelong Scituate resident and graduated from Scituate High School, Class of 2019. He attended Quincy College. He worked at Cohasset Lobster Pound, 7-Eleven, and more recently at J. Trainor Construction in Norwell.
Gregory began playing football in second grade with the SICOH football team and played every year through eighth grade. He was captain of his SHS freshmen football team. Gregory's favorite part of the day was early morning. He loved walking to the beach to watch the sunrise. He just loved being outside enjoying nature. Gregory was an avid reader who enjoyed sharing his thoughts and opinion on whatever the hot topic of the day was. He enjoyed a spirited debate with anyone willing to share an opposing opinion to his. Gregory regularly worked out at Baystate Athletic Club under Mark's supervision. He took physical fitness and nutrition very seriously.
He enjoyed fishing, kayaking, shooting, and walks on the beach. He was happiest when walking his two and half year old German Shepherd "Phionna".
