Harriet V. (McKenzie) Keefe, age 94, of Scituate, formerly of Newton and Cohasset,
passed away peacefully on February 8, 2012. Harriet was a graduate of Lowell Normal
School and earned a Master's Degree in Reading from Boston University. She taught
for many years at the Dutile School in Billerica as a Reading Specialist. A devoted wife,
mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Harriet loved to travel and often found
great enjoyment traveling the world with her family and friends.

Harriet was the beloved wife of the late Thomas F. Keefe, Jr. and the devoted mother of
Barbara Cronin of Venice, FL., Thomas F. Keefe and his wife, Barbara of Scituate, Peter
Keefe and his wife Ellen of Venice, FL., and Deborah Knapp and her husband, Jim of
Sanibel, FL. She was the loving grandmother of Sara Zullo, Matthew Keefe, Abby, Will,
Peter, and Drew Knapp, and Patrick and Caitlin Keefe and the adoring great-grandmother
of six.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, February 18, 2012 at 11 am in St.
Anthony Church, Cohasset. Visiting hour prior to the Mass from 10-11 am on Sat.
Feb. 18 in McNamara-Sparrell Funeral Home, 1 Summer St. (Across from St. Anthony
Church), Cohasset, MA. 02025. Interment private. In lieu of flowers, donations in
Harriet's memory may be made to the Catholic Charities, 51 Sleeper St., Boston, MA.
