With a heavy heart, we say goodbye to Henry F. "Harry" Venti, Jr., who passed away on March 29, 2024, after a short illness. Son of the late Henry F., Sr., and Violet Venti, Harry, 72, is also survived by the Glancy, DiPesa, and Ellis families.

For nearly five decades, Harry was the devoted husband of Ann (Glancy), a constant source of support and love. Harry leaves behind his children Pam Venti and wife Katie Ross of Needham, Peter Venti and wife Kristine of Marshfield, and Kim McNamara and husband Shane of Scituate. He also leaves behind his grandchildren, Jake, Emerson Ross-Venti, Cole, Addison, Charlotte Venti, and Brody and Remi McNamara, who brought him joy and pride.

Born in Brockton, Massachusetts, Harry pursued his education at Xaverian Brothers High School and Wentworth Institute of Technology. He had a passion for sports, sharing his love for the game with his children and coaching numerous youth teams over the years. Whether on the field or the court, Harry's guidance left a lasting impact on those he mentored.

Summers spent at Minot Beach and days at the Scituate Country Club were Harry's happy places. He loved the game of golf and spent as many of his waking days on the golf course with family and friends. Harry enjoyed traveling with Ann, making memories together, and later recounting their adventures.

Friends and family are invited to pay their respects at visiting hours on Wednesday, April 3, 2024, from 4 to 7 pm at the McNamara-Sparrell Funeral Home in Cohasset, Massachusetts. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, April 4, 2024, at 11 am at St. Anthony Church in Cohasset, followed by a private interment.
