Reverend Hubert E. Desmond, died on July 27, 2022, at Regina Cleri Residence in Boston. Loving son of the late Denis J. Desmond and C. Agnes Desmond. Brother of Denis F. Desmond and his wife, Peggy, of Hanover,  the late Mary C. Desmond of Scituate, and the late Joseph Desmond and his wife, the late Patricia of Contoocook, N.H. He is survived by many nieces and nephews as well as grand nieces and grand nephews.

Reverend Desmond was ordained on February 3, 1958, by Richard Cardinal Cushing and served in many parishes in the suburbs of Boston.

Family and Friends are invited attend visiting hours from 9-10:30 am in McNamara-Sparrell Funeral Home, 1 Summer St (across from St Anthony Church), Cohasset, MA on Wednesday, August 3, 2022 followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 am in St. Anthony Church, Cohasset. Interment Woodside Cemetery, Cohasset. Private wake at Regina Cleri.
