Illuminata (Chilla) Devito, age 89 of Cohasset passed away peacefully March 27, 2024. She was born in Amaroni, Italy and moved to the US in 1970 with her late husband Raffaele Devito. Illuminata loved cooking, baking, and gardening. No one could cook as well as her. She is survived by her daughters Lucia Doria and husband Jack of Braintree, and Pina Downing of Cohasset. Loving Nonna of Lisa Doria of Braintree, Stephanie Doria of Braintree, and Jonathan Downing of Denver, CO. She was also the oldest of eight siblings, survived by Barbara Salvatore, Domenico, Settimo, Maria and the late Giuseppina and Francesco.
