James W. Mullin age 88, of Scituate, passed peacefully on April 27, 2014.  Beloved husband of the late Janet T. (McGrady). Devoted father of Geraldine A. Mullin of Nantucket, Jane K. Murphy of Hingham, James W. Mullin III of Scituate, Janet T. Mullin of Hull, and John C. Mullin of Scituate. Brother of John C. and Robert Mullin both of Florida, and the late Edward Mullin and Mary Nelligan. Beloved grandfather of eight.

Mr. Mullin was a veteran of WW II, serving in the US Navy. He graduated from Boston Mechanical Art School and Museum School of Art. Mr. Mullin was a furniture sales representative and later a real estate broker for Jack Conway. He was also a member of the Scituate Harbor Yacht Club.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, May 2, 2014 at 10 am in St. Mary of the Nativity Church, 1 Kent St., Scituate Harbor. Visiting hours omitted. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Assoc., 480 Pleasant St., Watertown, MA. or to a charity of one's choice.
