James Joseph Richard, of Hull, formerly a resident of Cohasset for thirty five years, age 72, suddenly on March 18, 2011. Beloved husband of Mary Donlan Richard and devoted father of Christian Richard of Hull, Charles M. Campion of Brookline, Rosella Campion of Boston, Suzanne Campion of Weston, Tracy Campion of Boston, and Leigh McInerny of Centerville. Brother of Raymond Richard and Paul Richard both of Cape Cod. Also survived by 13 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.

Born and raised in Hyannis, Mr. Richard graduated from Hyannis Schools. He then graduated number one in his class from Swain School of Design. He worked for many years and was a partner at Matzell, Richard & Watts advertising firm. Mr. Richard was also an award winning artist. He was also a veteran, having served in the US Army.

Visiting hours Monday, March 21 from 4-8 pm in McNamara-Sparrell Funeral Home, 1 Summer St. (across from St. Anthony Church), Cohasset.

Service Information

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, March 22, 2011 at 10 am in St. Anthony Church, Cohasset.
