Jason D. Carle Jr. of Scituate MA passed peacefully October 3rd at the age of 73. He was surrounded by his wife and family after succumbing to a short, but courageous battle with lung cancer. Born in Schenectady NY, he was the only son of Peggy and Jason Carle, and loving brother to his sister Georgeanne. He joined the Air Force after high school, and later attended the University of Minnesota. In occupation Jason was a skilled electrical engineer, beginning his career at Thompson Inc. in Marion, MA. and culminating his professional journey at Jacobs in Boston. Jason took great pride and care in his family and loved ones, and he had a great love and passion for dogs. He was a talented craftsman who enjoyed various types of carpentry work and often gifted those close to him with unique and custom-made pieces. Predeceased by his parents, Peggy and Jason Carle, as well as his late wife Elizabeth Curtis, Jason's passing is mourned by many. Survived by his wife Mary Mason Carle of Scituate MA, sister Georgeann Smithies and husband Joe of Caseyville IL, and several stepchildren and grandchildren, who affectionately referred to him as JJ, Jason will be remembered for his witty humor, kind heart, and his signature mustache. Services will be private.
