Jeanne Robinson Magner, 87, of Scituate, Ma passed away peacefully on July 17, 2024. She was born in Arlington, MA to John and Viola Robinson on November 22, 1936. She was the loving wife of Robert P. Magner, with whom she shared 56 years of marriage before he passed in July of 2016. She was the devoted mother of Robert P. Magner Jr of Scituate, MA, Christine Magner Kimball and her husband Gary Kimball of Plymouth, MA. She was an amazing Nana to Sean R. Kimball and his wife Mary of Bridgewater, MA, Brendan J. Kimball and his wife Laila of Plymouth, MA. and Brian P. Kimball of Buzzards Bay, MA. The love she had for her 3 grandsons was endless, as most of her favorite memories included them. She was especially happy that she lived long enough to see her 5 great grandchildren; Tommy, Jack, Nora, Benjamin and Owen loved their G-Nana to pieces.

She was predeceased by her parents and 3 siblings, William Robinson, Hazel Foley and Phyliss Benoit.

Jeanne worked as a teller and customer service representative at Hingham Institution for Savings for many years before her retirement. Her real passion came after retirement when she began volunteering at Children's Hospital. She loved holding babies and comforting parents and kids. She volunteered there for 21 years and was loved by all, especially the nurses of the Infant and Toddler Surgical Unit.

Jeanne was kind to everyone and always had a smile on her face. She loved to bake, walk, go to the beach and spend time with her family. She was an avid Boston sports fan and especially loved her Red Sox and Bruins. She was a longtime member of Hatherly Country Club, where she loved to play golf with her friends and socialize. She was also a volunteer for the junior golf program and in her later years enjoyed playing bridge there with her friends. Jeanne will be sorely missed by her family, friends and all who loved her.

Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday, July 23rd from 4-7pm at McNamara-Sparrell Funeral Home in Cohasset, MA. Jeanne will be celebrated at a Mass of Christian Burial at Saint Anthony's Church in Cohasset on Wednesday, July 24th at 10am. Relatives and friends invited to attend. Interment will be private.
