Jeanne G. (Marland) Scothorne, age 70, of Hanover, formerly of Norwell, passed away on Aug. 1, 2015 surrounded by family. Wife of the late Stephen R. Scothorne. Devoted mother of Susan N. Scothorne of Hanover, Stephen G. Scothorne and wife Caitlin of Middleboro. Loved sister of David Marland and wife Barbara of Oregon, William D. Marland, Jr and wife Susan of Las Vegas, NV., and Marguerite A. Harrold and husband William of Norwell. Loved step-grandmother of Connor.  Visiting hours will be held on Friday, August 7, 2015 from 4-7 pm in McNamara-Sparrell Funeral Home, 30 Central St. (off Rt 123, near State Police Barracks), Norwell Center. A Graveside service will be held in Washington Street Cemetery, Norwell on Saturday, Aug. 8, 2015 at 11 am.
