Obituary
Joan Frances (Ash) Morton, age 84, of Scituate, passed away peacefully on February 18, 2015. Joan was the daughter of the late Dr. Richard and Albina Ash of Quincy and sister of Marie Reed of Westwood, Patricia Tramontozzi of Norwich, CT, Virginia Kinniburgh of Braintree and Alice Maglio of Providence, RI. Joan was a graduate of Sacred Heart School in Weymouth and attended Regis College. She enjoyed golfing with her pals at Hatherly Country Club.
Joan is survived by her husband of 59 years, W. Roger Morton, son Michael Morton and wife, Kathy of Glastonbury, CT., and daughter Anne-Marie Fields and husband Michael of Marshfield, five grandchildren, and one great-grandson. She was predeceased by her son, Daniel.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, April 25, 2015 at 10:30 am in St. Anthony Church, Cohasset. Donations in memory of Joan may be made to the Hospice of the South Shore, 30 Reservoir Park Drive, Rockland, MA. 02370, who did a magnificent job of supplying comfort and care to Joan and the family during her final days.
