John T. Burke-, of Norwell, formerly of Hingham, Hull and Cohasset, August 12, 2012.  Beloved husband of 58 years of the late Ann L. (Finn).  Survived by a sister and a brother, Helen Rorke and her husband Joseph of Falmouth, Edward Burke and his wife Jan of Pinehurst, NC.  Loving father of Ann Marie Curley and her husband Brian of Derry, NH, Kevin Burke and his partner Patty Robert of Brant Rock, and Diann Corcoran of Norwell.  Cherished grandfather of Erin Jace, Heather Curley, Patrick Curley, Meghan Corcoran, Jake Corcoran, three great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will honor and remember John's life by gathering for calling hours on Thursday, August 16, 2012 from 4-8PM at the McNamara-Sparrell Funeral Home, 1 Summer Street (across from St. Anthony Church), Cohasset, MA.  A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, August 17, 2012 at 11 AM at St. Anthony's Church, 10 Summer Street, Cohasset.  Burial will be private.  In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be donated to the Jay Corcoran Memorial Scholarship Foundation, 1 Fieldstone Way, Norwell, MA  02061 or to the Norwell VNA and Hospice, 120 Longwater Drive, Norwell, MA  02061.
