John W. Kennedy, age 77, of Cohasset, passed away peacefully on August 10, 2018. Beloved husband of Mary J. (Marginot) and the loving father of Charles Joseph Kennedy (Nikki) of Cohasset and Karla Ann Kennedy (Michael Maguire) of Rockland. Adoring grandfather of Maggie Paige Kennedy and Randall Morgan Kennedy of Cohasset. Son of the late Helen (Parkinson) and Martin J. Kennedy. Brother of Martin J. Kennedy of Sudbury and sister Janet Houghton of Mountain View, CA. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Mr. Kennedy loved sailing, a passion he shared with his family. He was an avid golfer, a sport he rediscovered later in life.

Family and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday, August 18, 2018 at 10:30 am in St. Anthony Church, 10 Summer St., Cohasset, MA. 02025.
