John Harold Newcomb, age 70, of Canton, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family on March 27, 2022. John was the beloved son of Mary Howard and the late Harold Newcomb. He was the loving husband of Karen (Cushen) Newcomb and the beloved father of Steven Newcomb and wife Maria of Plymouth, Daniel Newcomb of Portsmouth, NH, Elizabeth Newcomb of Canton, MA., and Jill Nesbitt and husband Steven Nesbitt of Bullshead City, AZ. John was the brother of Daniel Newcomb of St. Cloud, FL, and Edward Newcomb of Canton, MA. He was the loving Grampy of Jared Newcomb and Nikolette Nesbitt.

John worked for the Town of Canton and was a heavy equipment operator. He enjoyed spending time with Karen and family at the log home they built in NH.

Family and friends are invited to visiting hours on Monday, April 4, 2022 from 4-8 pm in McNamara Sparrell Funeral Home, 30 Central Street (off Rt 123, near State Police Barracks), Norwell Center, MA. 02061 and again on Tuesday, April 5, 2022 from 10:30-11:30 am prior to a Graveside Service in Church Hill Cemetery, Norwell.
