John Robert Reed of Norwell passed peacefully in his home surrounded by family on Friday, February 4th, 2022. Beloved Husband of Pamela (Mattie) Reed. Devoted Father of Holly Reed-Banfill, Adam Banfill, Benjamin Reed and wife Caroline (O'Connell) Reed, Heather (Reed) Loomis and husband Colten Loomis. Loving Son of the late Walter and Virginia (Dubois) Reed. Dear Brother of the late Walter (Frank) Reed and The Late Lawrence (Larry) Reed. Loving Grandfather of Anthony and Daniel Reed, John and Jenna Loomis. As well as many nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service honoring John's life to be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers remembrances in John's memory may be made to the Norwell VNA and Hospice or The Michael J. Fox Foundation or a Charity of your choice. John loved his family and enjoyed spending time with them. He had a passion for music and played in several local bands over the years. Fishing was a great joy of his whether in a boat or from shore. A favorite place of his was Snake Pond in Forestdale Ma. A place where many years of friends and memories which were very special to him.
