Joseph L. Bird, age 52, of Weymouth, formerly of Scituate, on July 4, 2011. Beloved son of Margaret M. (Sheehan) Bird of Scituate and the late James J. Bird, Sr. Loving brother of James J. Jr. and wife, Brenda of San Diego, CA.; Kevin and wife Kathleen of Hingham; John and wife Lori of Marshfield; Daniel and wife, Angelika of Stuttgart, Germany; Colleen Maley of Medway. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Joseph was a graduate of Scituate High School, Class of 1976 and was a veteran, having served in the US Army.
