Joseph B. Connolly, Jr.- of Norwell, formerly of Medford, age 68. March 4, 2013. Cherished husband of Margaret T. (Tommasino). Son of the late Dr. Joseph B. Connolly and Elizabeth (Greene). Brother of Dr. Mark L. Connolly and wife Suzanne of Medford, Stephen F. Connolly and wife Robyn of Nevada, Michael J. Connolly and wife Kathleen of Scituate, Midge Stone and husband Peter of Cohasset. Also survived by his dear stepmother, Louise M. Connolly of Scituate and many nieces and nephews.

Graduate of B.C. High, Class of 1962, Colby College, Class of 1967. US Army Veteran, serving as Lieutenant. Lifelong independent insurance broker in Boston and the South Shore. Avid golfer and member of Hatherly Country Club, Scituate.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, March 9, 2013 at 9:30 am in St. Anthony Church, Cohasset. Visiting hours Friday, March 8, 2013 from 3-7 pm in McNamara-Sparrell Funeral Home, 1 Summer St. (Across from St. Anthony Church), Cohasset. Interment Private.
