Joseph J. O'Rourke - age 89, of Cohasset, passed away on April 1, 2014. Beloved husband for over 60 years of Ruth G. (Grant). Devoted father of Patricia Kelley of Canton, Ann Whitney and husband Andy of  Cohasset, and Suzanne Chansky and husband Daniel of Wenham. Cherished grandfather of Nicole Whitney, Andrew Whitney, Philip Chansky, Benjamin Chansky, and Pamela Chansky.

Graduate of Suffolk University and attended Suffolk Law. Life member of the VFW, Post 1018, Boston and member American Legion Post 0462. Retired Boston Police Department, Precinct 1. Veteran World War II, US Navy.

Relatives and Friends invited to a Funeral Mass being celebrated on Saturday, April 5, 2014 at 10 am in St. Anthony Church, Cohasset. Visiting hours omitted. Interment Woodside Cemetery, Cohasset.
