Joseph Thongpaithoon, age 17 passed away peacefully at his home in Norwell, MA on October 8, 2014 after seven brave years fighting cancer. Beloved son of Michael Thongpaithoon and the late Marlena (Manning) Thongpaithoon, he leaves behind his sister Elizabeth, brother Jason, paternal grandparents Frances Pilalas and Edward Karas, maternal grandparents Patrick Manning and Carmen Saperstein and many loving family members and friends.

Visiting hours Monday October 13th, 3-7pm at McNamara-Sparrell Funeral Home, 30 Central Street (off Rt 123, near State Police Barracks), Norwell Center, MA. Funeral to be held at First Parish Unitarian Church 24 River Street, Norwell on Tuesday at 3 PM. Family and friends are kindly invited to attend both services. In lieu of flowers donations are welcome to the Marlena and Joseph Thongpaithoon Memorial Fund, South Shore Bank, 400 Washington Street, Norwell, MA 02061.
