Josephine Mary (Mirarchi) Von Iderstein  of Marshfield, passed away on November 25,
2014 after a two year courageous struggle with cancer. She passed
away peacefully at her home, surrounded by her family and her
beloved pets. Joey leaves her loving daughter Cindia Norton of Scituate,
her son-in–law Paul, and her four grandsons, Michael, Liam, Connor
and Charlie. She is also survived by her brother Frank Mirarchi of
Scituate and his wife Gigi, her sisters Vicki Poland of Marshfield and her
husband Ralph, Kathy Mirarchi of Scituate and Melissa Mirarchi of
Portland, ME., her nieces Catherine, Chrissi and Melissa and her
husband Bryan, nephews Chris and Andrew Mirarchi and his wife
Bridget and grand-nephews, Daniel, Ben and Rowan, as well as many
loving friends. Joey was a much loved children's librarian in Hingham
and Scituate for over 25 years. She touched the lives of many children
as they grew through their years in Scituate. She retired three years ago
with great recognition and appreciation from the town of Scituate. Her
love of home and family, books and animals were her passions of her
life.

There will be a celebration of her life to be announced at a later
date. All friends and family will be lovingly invited to attend. Donations
in her memory may be made to the Scituate Animal Shelter, The
Scituate Library Building Fund, Norwell VNA Hospice or Cancer Support
Center in Norwell. The family deeply appreciates the love care from
