Judith "Judy" M. Nowak

Judith "Judy" Nowak, 79, of Cohasset, Massachusetts, passed peacefully surrounded by her family on October 8, 2026. She leaves behind her sister, Jane Fegreus, and her brother-in-law, Edward Fegreus, both of Cohasset; nieces Jenna, Mary, and Elizabeth Fegreus, and nephew Michael Fegreus; great-nephew William and great-niece Genevieve; and many dear friends.

Born in Springfield on August 24, 1947, Judy was the daughter of Genevieve and Michael Nowak. Judy was a longtime resident of Wilbraham before moving to Cohasset to be closer to her family, and then to Benchmark in Hanover. She was a prolific knitter, crafter, and artist. Judy was the life of any party and would never turn down a chance to polka. Judy will be remembered for her ready smile and her quick sense of humor.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, October 19th at 10am at Saint Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Cohasset. Relatives and friends invited to attend.

Her burial will follow on Tuesday, October 20, 2026 at 11am at Hillcrest Park Cemetery in Springfield where she spent many happy days helping her nieces and nephew catch frogs in the pond, teaching them how to drive, and walking with Gracie, her best four-legged friend.
