IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Judith Margaret
(Marks) Rockwell
June 23, 1948 – April 19, 2025
Judith Margaret Rockwell (Marks) 76 years of age, of Marshfield, MA formerly of Cohasset passed away on Saturday, April 19, 2025.
Loving and devoted mother of Kaitlyn Blair Bragga and husband Nathan Bragga of Kingston. Loving daughter of the late Charles A. Marks, the late Margaret V. (O'Neill) and the late Patricia Ann Moynihan. Loving and cherished grandmother to Charlie Bragga, Lucy Bragga and Ben Bragga all of Kingston. Devoted sister of Charles Marks and wife Norma of Florida, Robert Mcdonald and wife Joanne of Plymouth, Richard Mcdonald and wife Marcia of Las Vegas, Andrew Marks and wife Venus of Laos, Michael Mcdonald and wife Linda of East Bridgewater and the late Jan Fellows. Also survived by many extended family and friends.
Judy grew up in Cohasset surrounded by aunts, uncles and many cousins. She was active in church, girl scouts, and school clubs. She graduated from Bridgewater State College with a degree in elementary education and went on to teach children in preschool, elementary school and middle school. Judy was an active parishioner of St. Christine's church where she also continued her love of teaching in developing a religious education program for second graders preparing to receive their First Holy Communion. When Judy wasn't sewing, knitting and crocheting; she was easily found at one of the numerous beaches of Marshfield with friends. Judy loved playing board games with friends, sharing meals with neighbors, and reading.
Judy smiled most when she was spending time with her daughter, son in law and grandchildren. Whether it be sleepovers with Charlie, singing and dancing with Lucy or building race tracks with Ben, she showed her love towards her 3 grandchildren and will be terribly missed. However, she will live on in their hearts and every memory and pillowcases they rest their heads on as they dream of spending time with Nana once again. Judy and her daughter were always creating memories; late night trips to ice creams, summer trips to Maine and the Cape, crafting, seeing plays in Boston and even going to Disney just a few days before Judy passed away. Kaitlyn will always feel Judy's hand holding hers during times of celebration and times of stress. She is surely Lucy's guardian angel and Lucy will always enjoy her Nana songs most of all.
