Judith Anne (McCarty) Leibowitz, 74, of Hingham, MA passed away on Saturday, December 10, 2022. She was the beloved wife of the late Robert J. Leibowitz to whom she was married to for 46 years. Judy was born on February 21, 1948 in Hyannis, MA to the late Janice (Drew) and Edward McCarty where she was raised with her brother, Edward McCarty Jr., of Little Narrows, Nova Scotia. She is survived by her two daughters, Laura Tripp and her husband, Rob, of Pownal, ME, and Lesley Snyder and her husband, Josh, and her three grandsons, Jack, Drew, and Ben, all of Norwell, MA. Judy graduated from Barnstable High School and from Katharine Gibbs Secretarial School. She raised her family with Bob in Norwell, MA before they retired to Rockport, ME where they made many wonderful friends and memories. She loved reading, cooking, quilting, the New York Times crossword puzzle, and especially her grandsons. Judy's family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the employees of Rose Court Memory Care at Linden Ponds for their comfort and care. All services will be private.
