IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Kathryn D.
O'Sullivan
October 26, 1960 – April 22, 2025
Kathryn D. O'Sullivan, of Marion, MA, formerly of Western Massachusetts, passed away April 22nd, 2025 peacefully after a courageous journey marked by resilience and grace.
Born on October 26, 1960, in Springfield, Massachusetts, Kathryn was the beloved daughter of the late Madeline and Stephen O'Sullivan. She spent much of her life in Western Mass, where she built a career in banking and accounting. Her professional path was marked by dedication and a quiet strength, qualities she carried into all aspects of her life.
Kathryn was a woman of deep creativity. Whether sewing, crafting, or decorating, she always had a project in motion—bringing beauty and thoughtfulness into everything she touched. Her hands were rarely still, and her creative spirit will be remembered by all who knew her.
Her creativity was matched by her unmistakable spark—she had a spunky sense of humor and playful spirit that brought joy to all of us.
Above all, Kathryn was a caretaker. Her nurturing presence extended to family, friends, and even strangers who found comfort in her warmth. Despite enduring significant health challenges throughout her life, she faced each obstacle with remarkable courage and an unwavering will to press forward.
Of all her roles, the one she cherished most was being a mother to her daughter, Brandi.
She welcomed Brandi's husband, Andrew, as a son, and together they gifted her the greatest joys of her life—her granddaughters, Emma and Grace, who brought light and laughter into her world. Time spent with them was Kathryn's most treasured moments.
Kathryn is survived by her loving daughter Brandi Bonica and her husband Andrew, as well as her cherished granddaughters Emma and Grace. She also leaves behind her older brothers, Joseph O'Sullivan and Robert O'Sullivan, and the many of those who became her family.
A service will be held in her honor at Hillcrest Cemetery, Monson MA. May 3rd at 11 AM. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Acquired Brain Injury Foundation https://cooperativeproduction.org/donate/ In the note of your donation, please kindly include the note that it is being made in honor of Kathryn O'Sullivan or Mill Street.
