Kathy McGuirk Maguire of Norwell passed away suddenly on January 28, 2023 surrounded by family. Daughter of the late Robert and Ruth (Logee) McGuirk she had two brothers Peter (Joan) McGuirk and Rob (Joanne) McGuirk. She was raised in Hingham and attended Hingham High School. Kath moved to Norwell 55 years ago when she married her beloved husband Edward (NED) Maguire. She was the loving mother of Ted (Lori) Maguire of Kansas City, MO and Jim (Christine) Maguire of San Rafael, CA. Kath is also survived by her adored grandchildren Olivia, Claire, Amelia, Scarlett, and Tate. She loved and was loved by her grandchildren and always wanted to hear about their adventures.

Kath was a energetic, caring, fun loving person who always lit up a room wherever she went. Her friends would often say she always wanted to talk about your life. It was never about her, it was always about the other person.

Kath retired as Practice Administrator at Cohasset Pediatrics last year after 35 years, a job she loved.

Remembrance will be held on Saturday, February 4, 2023 from 3-7pm at the McNamara-Sparrell Funeral Home-30 Central Street, Norwell, MA. Graveside services will be private. A Celebration of Life to be held in the Spring.
