Keith H. McEachern, age 74, of Norwell, formerly of Dorchester, passed away on June 6, 2014 at home surrounded by his family. Loving husband of Dorothea M. (Smith). Devoted father of Kevin McEachern and his wife Elizabeth of So. Weymouth; Donna Johnson and husband David of Norwell; and Denise Suurhans and husband Jack of Norwell. Beloved grandfather of Brian and Amanda McEachern and Olivia Suurhans. Brother of Sheila Healey of Norwell. Also survived by nieces and nephews, as well as his dog, a lab mix, Jake.

Keith was a member of the Local 7 Iron Workers for over 38 years. He was a veteran of the US Navy, serving from 1958-1962. Keith loved traveling, especially cruises, camping, swimming, reading and animals.

Relatives and friends invited to attend visiting hours on Monday, June 9, 2014 from 3-5 pm, followed by a Prayer Service at 5 pm in McNamara-Sparrell Funeral Home, 30 Central St. (off Rt. 123, near State Police Barracks), Norwell Center.
