Kristen M. (Greek) Butrica, age 40, of Scituate, passed away after a long illness on January 5, 2012. Beloved fiancé of Christopher A. LeBlanc of Scituate and devoted daughter of Robert C. Greek and Helen M. (Byrne) Greek of Scituate. Sister of Robert W. Greek and his wife, Kelly of Scituate. Also survived by her two nephews, Charles and Christopher Greek of Scituate. Beloved niece of Thomas and Lois Edwards of Scituate, Janice Tripp of Weymouth, Thomas and Erin Edwards of Newton, John and Heather Edwards of Duxbury, Terance and Lori Shea of Scituate, Gary, Scott, and Steven Silvia all of Weymouth, Jean and Paul Ciarcia, Paula, Glenna, and Robert all of Winthrop.

A graduate of South Shore Vocational Technical High School, Class of 1990, Kristen was formerly employed by Cardinal Cushing School in Hanover.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, January 11, 2012 at 10 am in St. Mary of the Nativity Church, 1 Kent St., Scituate Harbor. Visiting hours Tuesday, Jan. 10 from 4-8 pm in McNamara-Sparrell Funeral Home, 1 Summer St.(across from St. Anthony Church), Cohasset. In lieu of flowers, donations in Kristen's memory may be made to the Dana Farber Cancer Institute, 44 Binney St., Boston, MA. 02115.
