Lorraine Marie (Mitchell) Carroll, age 84, of Cohasset, formerly of Roxbury, passed away peacefully on December 13, 2018. Beloved wife of 60 years to Charles M. Carroll. Loving mother of Edward M. Carroll and his wife Kirsten of Downers Grove, Ill, and Lorraine A. Tarpey and husband Paul of Cohasset. Adoring grandmother of Kevin and Kathleen Carroll and Colin and Brendan Tarpey. Sister of the late Patrick Mitchell. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Lorraine was a 1952 graduate of Saint Joseph's Academy and a retired executive secretary for New England Telephone Co. Lorraine loved to travel, but most of all loved family and being Grammie to her grandchildren.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate Lorraine's life on Monday, Dec. 17, 2018 from 4-8 pm in McNamara-Sparrell Funeral Home, 160 So. Main St. (across from St. Anthony Church), Cohasset, MA. 02025. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, Dec. 18, 2018 at 10 am in St. Anthony Church, 10 Summer St., Cohasset, MA.
