Louis S. Esposito, age 83, of Hingham, formerly of Cohasset, passed away January 14, 2018. Lou was the son of Joseph and Rachel Esposito and the loving husband of Shirley Ann Leavitt. Devoted father of Louis "Scott" Esposito and wife Barbara Esposito and Susan Marie Constantine and husband Ralph Constantine. Born and raised in the West Corner of Cohasset, Lou was a graduate of Cohasset High School. Upon graduation Lou attended and graduated Boston University.
Lou proudly served his country as a Second Lieutenant in the United States Army Armor Division. After his service to his country was complete, Lou worked in the manufacturing industry eventually working his way up to President and CEO of Turnbull Enterprises, Baltimore, MD that manufactured Marine and Aircraft furniture for the United States Government. A long-time resident of Hingham, Lou enjoyed traveling working around the yard and loved spending time with his family. He was an avid New England Patriots fan and rarely missed a game.
Lou was predeceased by his brothers Joseph "Billy" Esposito, Samuel "Sammy" Esposito and sister Rose Tyrell Esposito. Lou "Papa" is survived by his grandchildren Kerri Esposito, Craig Esposito, Christopher Constantine, Lindsey Constantine, and Matthew Constantine, also great grandchildren Ryan Esposito, and Evan Esposito.
Family and friends are invited to celebrate Lou during visiting hours on Thursday, Jan. 18, 2018 from 4-8 pm in McNamara-Sparrell Funeral Home, 160 So. Main St. (across from St. Anthony Church), Cohasset. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, January 19, 2018 at 10 am in St. Anthony Church, Cohasset. Interment Woodside Cemetery, Cohasset. In lieu of flowers, donations to honor Lou may be made to St. Jude Research Hospital, 501 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN., 38105 or online at stjude.org.
